9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies

Below are events in our area that will honor those who we lost:


  • The City of Norcross will hold a short 9/11 remembrance ceremony at 8:30am at Betty Mauldin Park


  • The Lawrenceville Department of Fire and Emergency Services will hold its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony where county officials will reflect on the importance of remembering the events of September 11th and honor the men and women of public safety at 8:30am at the Gwinnett Fallen Heroes Memorial


  • “Remembering Our Fallen”, a traveling photo memorial wall of Georgia’s Fallen, will be on display in the lobby of the Lilburn City Hall-Library, September 9-13. This photographic war memorial honors over 210 Georgia based service members who died while serving our country during The War on Terror (9/11/2001 to Present).


  • The City of Duluth & The Dream Keepers present "A Remembrance of 9/11" with guest speakers Kathy Fincher and Rodney M. Cook Jr. beginning at 6:30pm at the Duluth Town Green
