US Chamber Presents Annual "Spirit of Enterprise" Award to Rep. Rob Woodall
The United States Chamber of Commerce today presented Rep. Rob Woodall with its annual “Spirit of Enterprise” award for his strong voting record on critical business issues in the second session of the 112th Congress.
“In the face of high-stakes politics and difficult choices, Congressman Woodall provided America's job creators with a strong voice in Congress," said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber. "This award recognizes Congressman Woodall for consistently demonstrating his support for pro-growth policies,”
The Chamber’s prestigious “Spirit of Enterprise” award is given annually to members of Congress based on rankings it gives for key business votes outlined in its yearly publication, How They Voted.
The U.S. Chamber is the world’s largest business federation. Woodall stated, “Representing more than 3 million businesses and organizations of every size across the country, the U.S. Chamber knows when Washington lawmakers are growing our economy and when Washington lawmakers are undermining.
