Woodall Announces December Telephone Town Hall Schedule

November 28, 2012
Press Release

(LAWRENCEVILLE, GA) -  With fiscal cliff talks in full swing, U.S. Representative Woodall (R-GA-07) wants to ensure that his constituents have as many opportunities as possible to make their voices heard.  Woodall will host three Telephone Town Hall Meetings in the month of December.  These Telephone Town Hall Meetings will be open to all constituents in the Seventh District.

“America’s well being hangs in the balance of decisions we make over the next few weeks.  As fiscal talks escalate here in Congress, it’s critical that the Seventh District know what is happening in Washington and that I hear their input.  While the House’s schedule prevents me from scheduling any in-person Town Hall Meetings this month, I have an aggressive Telephone Town Hall Meeting schedule that will ensure the opportunity for constituents to stay in touch,” Woodall said.

Woodall recently weighed in on the fiscal cliff with Gwinnett Daily Post’s Camie Young.  The full article is available here.

Woodall has hosted dozens of Town Hall Meetings – both in person and via telephone – throughout 2012.  He is committed to continuing this same aggressive Town Hall schedule in 2013.

“If there is one thing the Seventh District can always count on, it’s for me to be available to them—to share what’s happening in Washington, to listen to their concerns, discuss their ideas, and field their criticisms.  I hope to hear from many of those that I represent at these upcoming Telephone Town Hall Meetings,” Woodall said.
