Press Release

Lawrenceville, GA -- In observance of Memorial Day, Congressman Rob Woodall (R-GA) issued the following statement:

"This weekend was full of parades and festivals, but also of solemn memorial services and heads bowed in prayer.  On Memorial Day, we remember that freedom isn't free, and that it comes at the sacrifice of brave men and women--sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers.  To our heroes in uniform both here and overseas on this special day I say, 'thank you.'  To families of those warriors who are no longer with us I say, 'I will never forget.'  The colors of our flag stay bright and bold thanks to our Armed Forces.  God bless you, and God bless America."
