The FY2015 Budget

On Tuesday, The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1871, the Baseline Reform Act, to end the cycle of “Washington math” that allows spending to rise while calling it a “cut.” Introduced by Georgia’s Seventh District Representative Rob Woodall, the bill would end the current bias towards more spending in Washington.

On Wednesday, April 2, all 14 members from Georgia in the U.S. House of Representatives sent a letter to Congressman Mike Simpson (ID-2), Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water Development, outlining their priorities for the fiscal year 2015 Energy and Water Appropriations Bill. The letter requests that the Committee support federal funding for the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP).
