WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the bipartisan “Stopping Bad Robocalls Act.” This legislation requires phone carriers to implement call authentication technologies and call-blocking services, at no additional cost to the consumer, to better ensure that these aggravating calls are a thing of the past.
WASHINGTON, DC – In a vote of 231 to 199, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 582, which would raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour – a 107% wage increase.
